We are filling the following online and Colorado based student practicum positions:

Tier three-student administration:

This position provides students with experience in network architecture, systems design and project management.   The tier three students will be responsible for coordinating training of the tier one and two students, interact with the faculty, and research testing and deployment of servers and client installation. They will also actively participate in the analysis, design and implementation of the next generation of ARNe backbone equipment and services. Available to provide tier three support to RU MSCIT students.

Tier two-student administration:

Tier two support at the campuses, online and in our production environment provides students with  experience remotely administrating our servers, routers and assisting our first year students with their course work. 

Tier one administration:

No experience required. Must have desire to learn and proven ability work well with others.

All students will gain:

• experience with remote administration of a variety of server types
• management of  routing and switch equipment
• management of all facets of security measures
• remote ticketing help desk
